Check with seller Warehouse Operations & Distribution Lead
- Location: Ha Noi City, vietnam
We are seeking a Warehouse Operations & Distribution Lead to master the "muck and gut" of our supply chain. This is a hands-on, high-intensity role for someone who understands that the efficiency of a warehouse is built on the rigorous, often unglamorous management of inventory flow, space utilization, and process integrity. If you have the endurance to manage fast-paced floor operations, the forensic attention to detail to audit and improve sorting accuracy, and the grit to solve logistical bottlenecks in real-time, this is an outstanding opportunity to harden our distribution backbone and ensure the reliable movement of critical goods.
Key Responsibilities
Operational "Muck and Gut": Lead the daily physical operations of the warehouse, including the clearing of congestion, reorganization of storage zones, and the deep-cleaning of sorting areas to maintain high-throughput standards.
Process Optimization: Audit existing sorting and distribution workflows to identify and eliminate systemic inefficiencies, "zombie" inventory, and single points of failure.
Inventory Integrity: Maintain absolute accuracy in stock levels through regular cycle counts, rigorous audit trails, and hands-on oversight of goods receipt and dispatch.
Distribution Management: Coordinate the high-speed sorting and staging of outbound shipments, ensuring that distribution timelines are met while maintaining strict quality control.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce rigorous safety protocols in the warehouse, managing equipment usage (forklifts, conveyors) and ensuring a hazard-free environment for all staff.
Crisis Triage: Serve as the primary lead during supply chain disruptions, quickly rerouting shipments and reallocating resources to minimize downtime and prevent distribution backlogs.
Staff Mentorship: Direct and train warehouse floor staff on best practices for efficient sorting, safe material handling, and the importance of maintainable, clean operating habits.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in warehouse management, logistics, or industrial safety are highly preferred.
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in warehouse management, distribution logistics, or high-volume supply chain operations.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and automated sorting/scanning technologies.
Strong aptitude for operational logistics, space planning, and inventory control.
Deep knowledge of standard shipping/receiving processes and material handling safety regulations.
Personal Attributes:
Operational Grit: Proven ability to work long, physically demanding shifts in a high-stress, fast-moving warehouse environment.
Forensic Precision: A compulsion to resolve inventory discrepancies and workflow anomalies at the root cause level.
Calm Under Pressure: Ability to make sound, rapid decisions when distribution schedules are threatened by mechanical failure or logistical snags.
Methodical Discipline: Commitment to maintaining an orderly, organized, and audit-ready warehouse environment at all times.
