In this role, you will be responsible for onboarding, training, and providing ongoing support to junior staff, volunteers, and event support personnel. If you have a passion for professional development, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement, this is an excellent opportunity to shape the performance and morale of our event team.

One-on-One Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to individual team members, helping them navigate complex tasks, manage stress, and develop skills in event operations.
Performance Feedback: Observe staff performance during events and provide constructive, actionable feedback to help them meet quality standards and improve their professional capabilities.
Conflict Resolution: Act as a supportive mediator for team members, helping them navigate interpersonal challenges or operational difficulties with professionalism and grace.
Leadership Development: Identify high-potential team members and provide them with additional responsibilities and coaching to prepare them for future leadership roles within the organization.
Culture Building: Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment by organizing brief pre-event pep talks, acknowledging contributions, and promoting a spirit of mutual support.
Documentation & Assessment: Maintain records of training progress and provide assessments to management regarding team readiness and development needs.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field; certification in coaching is a plus.
Experience: 2–4 years of experience in mentorship, team leadership, or supervisory roles, preferably within a fast-paced or hospitality environment.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in designing training materials, presentations, and performance tracking tools.
Ability to communicate complex operational procedures clearly and concisely to diverse groups.
Personal Attributes:
High Empathy: Ability to listen actively and understand the needs of team members at different stages of their professional journey.
Inspirational Leadership: Capacity to motivate and energize team members, even during long, high-stress event hours.
Patience & Tact: Ability to provide difficult feedback in a way that is encouraging rather than discouraging.
Organizational Awareness: Deep understanding of company standards and the ability to align individual growth with organizational success.
