Check with seller Network Engineer / Cloud Engineer

We are seeking an experienced, leadership-driven Network and Cloud Engineer to lead our infrastructure team and maintain the highest standards of network reliability, cloud scalability, and technical security. In this senior role, you will oversee all aspects of our hybrid-cloud infrastructure, including network topology, cloud resource provisioning, traffic optimization, and site reliability. If you have strong team leadership skills, deep knowledge of modern infrastructure-as-code practices, and a passion for operational excellence and robust system design, this is an outstanding opportunity to shape the core connectivity and cloud-native performance of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, motivate, and evaluate the entire infrastructure team, including network technicians, cloud architects, and site reliability engineers.
Standards & Quality Control: Establish and enforce high network security standards, cloud architecture patterns, and disaster recovery procedures; conduct regular system audits and performance benchmarking.
Operations Planning: Develop and manage infrastructure roadmaps, migration strategies, and capacity planning to ensure high availability and efficient resource utilization.
Resource & Budget Management: Control cloud expenditure (FinOps), hardware procurement, software licensing, and connectivity service budgets; manage relationships with ISPs and cloud service providers (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Product teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with business requirements and supports scalable product growth.
Training & Development: Design and deliver comprehensive training programs on cloud technologies, network automation, and security best practices; mentor team leads and engineers.
Compliance & Reliability: Ensure full adherence to network security regulations, data sovereignty laws, and internal corporate infrastructure governance guidelines.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Prepare reports on system uptime, network latency, and infrastructure performance; implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and modern automation methodologies.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP, AWS/Azure/GCP Architect) are highly desirable.
Experience: 5–10+ years in network engineering or cloud architecture, with at least 3–5 years in a technical leadership or infrastructure management capacity. Experience in managing large-scale hybrid or multi-cloud environments is highly desirable.
Technical & Management Skills:
Strong knowledge of routing/switching, load balancing, VPNs, firewalls, and cloud-native networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect).
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines.
Proven ability to lead high-performing teams, optimize network traffic, and control cloud operational costs.
Soft Skills:
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
High attention to detail with a focus on system availability and network security.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple infrastructure-critical priorities in a dynamic environment.
