Job Description: Junior PHP Developer (Fresher)Job SummaryWe are looking for a motivated and eager-to-learn Junior PHP Developer to join our web development team. In this role, you will assist in building, maintaining, and optimizing dynamic web applications. You will work closely with senior developers, participating in the full software development lifecycle to transform requirements into functional, efficient code. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience with industry-standard frameworks and server-side programming. Key ResponsibilitiesWeb Development: Assist in writing, testing, and deploying server-side logic using PHP. Frontend Collaboration: Work alongside frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Database Management: Perform basic database operations using MySQL, including writing queries and maintaining data structures. Troubleshooting: Help identify and fix bugs in existing code to ensure optimal performance and security. Documentation: Maintain clear, concise documentation for code and project features to support team knowledge sharing. Code Quality: Participate in team code reviews and follow established coding standards to ensure consistency and maintainability. Learning & Growth: Stay updated on the latest PHP versions, framework best practices (e.g., Laravel, Symfony), and emerging web technologies. Required QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.Technical Foundation:Strong understanding of PHP fundamentals (syntax, functions, loops, etc.). Good grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts. Familiarity with web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Basic knowledge of SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL). Tools: Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Soft Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Eagerness to learn new frameworks and adapt to new development methodologies.Preferred Skills (Bonus)Exposure to modern PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony). Basic understanding of RESTful API concepts.Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress or Drupal. Knowledge of basic command-line operations (Linux/Unix).
