Job Description: Junior Full-Stack AI Developer
Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile and ambitious Junior Full-Stack AI Developer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for building end-to-end web and mobile applications while integrating Artificial Intelligence features. You will work across the stack—from designing responsive UI components to developing server-side logic and integrating LLMs (Large Language Models) or machine learning APIs. This role is ideal for a developer who is passionate about both traditional software engineering and the evolving landscape of Generative AI.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Stack Development: Build and maintain scalable features for web (React/Next.js/Node.js) and mobile (Flutter/React Native) platforms.
AI Integration: Integrate AI/ML models into applications using APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face) to deliver features like chatbots, automated content generation, or predictive data analysis.
Backend Development: Develop robust RESTful or GraphQL APIs and manage database schemas (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
AI Logic & Prompt Engineering: Experiment with and implement prompt engineering techniques to improve the quality and accuracy of AI-generated responses within the app.
UI/UX Implementation: Translate complex AI-driven data into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
Collaboration: Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and architectural discussions with senior engineers to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Documentation: Create clear technical documentation for both the application logic and the AI implementation pipelines.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Frontend Skills: Proficiency in React.js/Next.js or mobile frameworks like Flutter/React Native.
Backend Skills: Strong foundation in Node.js, Python (FastAPI/Flask), or Java (Spring Boot).
AI/ML Exposure:
Understanding of REST APIs for integrating AI services.
Basic knowledge of Vector Databases (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus) and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) concepts.
Database Management: Knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
Tools: Proficiency with Git for version control.
Soft Skills: Ability to bridge the gap between technical constraints and user needs; high level of curiosity regarding AI trends.
Preferred Skills (Bonus)
Experience with LangChain or LlamaIndex.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and containerization (Docker).
Prior projects showcasing an AI-powered feature (e.g., a custom AI chatbot or an automated data processing tool).
Understanding of basic machine learning workflows (data preprocessing, fine-tuning).
