We are seeking a reliable, customer-centric, and detail-oriented Teller to serve as the primary point of contact for our clients' daily banking needs. In this role, you will be responsible for processing financial transactions, maintaining rigorous accuracy in cash handling, and providing exceptional service that fosters trust and loyalty. Key Responsibilities
Transaction Processing: Accurately handle a wide range of financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, and foreign currency exchange.
Cash Management: Maintain a balanced cash drawer throughout the shift, performing precise counts at the start and end of the day, and ensuring all discrepancies are reconciled immediately.
Customer Engagement: Provide a warm, professional welcome to every customer, proactively identifying their needs and offering information on bank products or services when appropriate.
Compliance & Security: Adhere strictly to banking regulations, anti-money laundering (AML) policies, and internal security protocols to protect both the bank and the client.
Record Keeping: Maintain neat and accurate documentation for all transactions, including daily transaction logs and digital records within the core banking system.
Issue Resolution: Handle basic customer inquiries or complaints regarding accounts with patience and professionalism, escalating complex issues to branch management when necessary.
Referral Generation: Identify opportunities to support customers’ financial goals by referring them to appropriate bank staff for savings, loans, or investment services.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
Experience: 1–3+ years of experience in cash handling, retail, or a high-volume customer service environment.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in using core banking software, 10-key calculators, and currency counting machines.
Strong aptitude for basic mathematics and balancing financial statements.
Experience with high-volume data entry and attention to document security standards.

Exceptional Integrity: Proven history of handling cash and sensitive financial information with absolute honesty and trustworthiness.
Meticulous Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain 100% accuracy in fast-paced, repetitive transaction tasks.
Professional Composure: Ability to remain calm, patient, and polite even during busy periods or when dealing with difficult customer interactions.
Reliability: High level of accountability for daily cash balance and strict adherence to branch opening/closing procedures.
